About Us
Nagarika Mithra Samsthe
Seeing the women in distress in rural areas, the NGO made up its mind to serve the society. It aims to bring overall development in the rural areas.
The Ngo was started in 2010 in Sadanakeri, Dharwad to serve the geographical areas of Dharwad such as Annawar, Navalgund, Khalatgi, Kudchi, Khanapur and Sankeshwar. With 2500+ beneficiaries it main focus is Women empowerment, Health , Environment, Survey of child labor and family counselling. In order to keep women economically independent in the rural and downtrodden areas of Dharwad. The NGO has done skill development training to women in Fashion designing, Tailoring, Beauty parlour courses,Basic computer courses etc with 54 SHGs It has also done Survey of Child labor and school dropouts. It has given legal and health awareness with family counselling .As income generation training in mechanical ad Electronics training has been given to rural youth. It has helped the society during covid times by giving awareness and helping the needy by providing 250 food kits, 1200 masks and sanitizers,. The NGO is glad that it has 2000+Beneficiaries so far.
